Founder & PresidentA surgeon and Biomedical engineer who has contributed to innovations in Tissue Engineering, NanoTechnology, Radiofrequency ablation, Biophotonics, and DNA sequencing technology, Dr. Huynh developed and refined the idea of optimizing Mixed Reality for Surgical Operations through her years of experience with today’s complex healthcare system. She is a creative trailblazer pushing the boundaries of healthcare technology.

Larry Lugo
Commercialization & Business DevelopmentLarry brings over 20 years of building life science technologies companies to the OpticSurg leadership team. As a founder and CEO of Aurora Biotechnologies, Larry built a drug discovery platform that was acquired by Beckman-Coulter. Shifting focus on diagnostic imaging solutions, he led the effort developing the first FDA cleared PET-guided biopsy system.

Brent Shelton
Operations & Product LeadershipBrent brings a breadth of expertise in health tech operations and financing. His extensive experience as VP of Clinical/R&D operations at Cardialen, President of Virtias, CEO of Lumen Medical, the VP of Once Innovation, and Sr Business Program Manager at Medtronics leverages the high growth potential of OpticSurg.

Having held successive leadership positions across multiple categories (publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies, PE-backed companies, and VC-backed start-ups), Doug is an experienced operator with countless credits for building and commercializing disruptive technologies in highly regulated industries.

Kim Stebbings
Business DevelopementKim is an industry veteran with extensive experience in healthcare and medical device. She held key executive roles in medical device organizations including Roche – Boehringer Mannheim, BioStar, Medingo Ltd., Anodyne Therapy, and Dysis Medical where she created a team that built women’s health revenues to over $1.3M the first year.

Dr. Nosratieh’s passion for disruptive technologies drives her career. A former FDA/CDRH Lead Reviewer and Senior Advisor for Innovation, she was awarded an FDA Outstanding Service Award in 2015. She will help us foster collaboration and innovation to achieve our mission of improving healthcare delivery.

His curiosity has helped him excel at his varied technical experiences. Kyle brings to us his creative and also methodical problem-solving skills that have been tremendous for our bench to application implementation.

Michael Whitcomb
Security & Compliance StrategyMichael is the founder and President of Loricca, Inc. with more than 25 years of experience in IT security. He has successfully managed and actively participated in a multitude of IT security consulting projects for a variety of organizations and agencies including Department of Homeland Security, Siemens, FBI, University of Alabama Medical System, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, and numerous healthcare organizations.
The OpticSurg Clinical & Implementation Strategy team is comprised of a mix of practicing surgeons, administrators, and healthcare leaders.

Chudi Adi, MD, MBA
Development & ImplementationDr. Adi is a Nephrologist with vast entrepreneurial experience in diverse fields and passion for healthtech innovation. He is managing partner and on the executive board of several dialysis clinics and other companies. He previously set up a vascular access center, and has been Head of Nephrology and Transplantation in a large hospital program.

Development & ImplementationDr. Sambol is a CardioThoracic surgeon with tremendous experience. He is also the Chief Medical Officer for Operations Rutgers Practices at RJW Barnabas Health and is also the Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

As Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Rutgers – UMDNJ, Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics – UMDNJ, and as Vice President of its faculty practice plan (UPA) he is in a unique position to help our development and integration in complex health systems.

Global Regulatory/Operations ComplianceMargaret brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in all facets of product launch from design concept to commercialization in the US and international markets. Her expertise is in developing US and global med device regulatory strategy, bridging quality compliance gaps in pre-/post-M&A, and catalyzing organizational changes to support accelerated growth in a highly regulated environment.

Winnie Tsui
Clinical & Commercial ImplementationWinnie is an experienced and effective clinical application specialist. She has a long track record of planning and implementing successful pilots. Winnie has also been impactful in development of new products and features, capturing the business requirements, designing the product road map, monitoring the product development following Lean Startup principles.
