Our founder is a Biomedical Engineer and Surgeon. We are empowered by the diverse expertise of our team members – Surgeons, Clinicians, FDA Regulatory Experts, Business Development Powerhouses, AR/AI Experts, Data Scientists, Technologists, Engineers, and Healthcare Administrators. Our team is made up of people in the trenches committed to our mission.

Dr. Tran Tu Huynh

Founder & Chief Medical Officer

A surgeon and Biomedical engineer who has contributed to innovations in Tissue Engineering, NanoTechnology, Radiofrequency ablation, Biophotonics, and DNA sequencing technology, Dr. Huynh developed and refined the idea of optimizing Mixed Reality for Surgical Operations through her years of experience with today’s complex healthcare system. She is a creative trailblazer pushing the boundaries of healthcare technology.

Doug Hughes

Chief Executive Officer

Doug is an Army veteran and proven CEO with multiple exits and more than 20 years experience in advanced tech and operational leadership. Having held successive leadership positions across multiple categories (publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies, PE-backed companies, and VC-backed start-ups), Doug is an experienced operator with countless credits for building and commercializing disruptive technologies in highly regulated industries.

 

Michael Rizkalla

Chief Technology Officer

Michael Rizkalla has extensive experience with AR and AI. Michael has continually pushed the boundaries of innovation in software & game development. Michael has led many teams of developers to success. He fosters imagination and proficiency.

Justin Sambol, MD

Clinical Advisor – Development & Implementation

Dr. Sambol is a CardioThoracic surgeon with tremendous experience in open operations, laparoscopic operations, and robotic operations. He is also the Senior Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

Raymond Raven, MD, MBA

Clinical Advisor – Development & Growth West Coast

Dr. Raven is a leader in Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in Hand & Upper Extremity conditions. Dr. Raven is the CEO of a orthopedic medical group and Chief of the orthopaedic division of surgery at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center.

Michael Sirkin, MD

Clinical Advisor – Development & Growth East Coast

Dr. Sirkin is an expert in complex and traumatic fractures repair. As Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Rutgers – UMDNJ, Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics – UMDNJ, and as Vice President of its faculty practice plan (UPA) he is in a unique position to help OpticSurg development and integration in complex health systems.

Anita Nosratieh, PhD

Regulatory Affairs & Product Expert

Dr. Nosratieh’s passion for disruptive technologies drives her career. A former FDA/CDRH Lead Reviewer and Senior Advisor for Innovation, she was awarded an FDA Outstanding Service Award in 2015. She will help us foster collaboration and innovation to achieve our mission of improving healthcare delivery.

Kim Stebbings

Business Development Expert

Kim held key executive roles in medical device organizations including Roche – Boehringer Mannheim, BioStar, Medingo Ltd., Anodyne Therapy, and Dysis Medical where she created a team that built women’s health revenues to over $1.3M the first year.
