Partnership Aimed at Enabling Remote Interoperative Support Through Augmented Reality Telecollaboration Tool
New York, NY (May 17, 2022) - OpticSurg Inc. and McGinley Orthopedics, today announced a partnership to implement OpticSurg’s Vision Beyond augmented reality telecollaboration solution at McGinley Orthopedics to improve their customer relationships. The partnership brings together innovative orthopedic medical devices and novel digital health technology.

With the new technology, the McGinley team will be able to quickly collaborate with their surgical customers in the OR in real-time without having to be physically present. Using the Vision Beyond solution, on-site surgical teams can call McGinley representatives using augmented reality glasses. The representatives can use their computer or mobile device to consult with the on-site team and see a real-time view of the OR and toolsets through the glasses' camera. The on-site surgical team member remains hands-free and can continue to participate in the procedure while receiving audio and visual guidance from the representative.
